Ryerson University — Research Assistant
May 2010–August 2010
During the summer of 2010, I worked as a research assistant in the Centre for Learning Technologies at Ryerson University, where I worked with a team to begin developing a three-dimensional music visualizer in Java and OpenGL to enable people who are deaf or hard of hearing to experience music.

Oakville Public Library — Graphic Design Assistant
May 2009–August 2009
During the summer of 2009, I worked as the Graphic Design Assistant in the Central branch of the Oakville Public Library, where I developed a set of temporary signage guidelines to be used in all library branches, along with promotional materials, posters, and advertisements.

Concord Design
July 2006–September 2008
In July 2006, I participated in the Summer Company program and received a grant from the Ontario government to start my own small graphic design, web design, and photography business called Concord Design.

Idextrus
November 2005–May 2006
In November 2005, I began working on overflow projects from Idextrus, where I created pure CSS website layouts and email templates, and developed my skills in PHP.

Education
I am currently finishing the fourth and final year of my Honours Bachelor of Design degree joint program at York University and Sheridan College, and will be graduating in 2011.
In 2007, I finished grade 12 at Iroquois Ridge High School and graduated as an Ontario Scholar.
Other Experience & Awards
- Won a 2010 Student Applied Arts award for my portfolio website in the category of “Website Design - Single”.
- Received book awards for Computer Science and Yearbook courses upon graduating from Iroquois Ridge High School.
- Won Gold at the Halton Skills Competition for “Internet Web Page Design” in grade 12.
- In grade 12 Computer Science I was elected by my classmates to be the team leader, organizer, and one of the primary coders, for a large computer programming project.
- In grade 12 Yearbook I was elected by my classmates to design the front and back cover for the book.
- Won “Best 2D Animation” at the Eddies Halton Student Film Festival in grade 11.
- Won Silver at the Halton Skills Competition for “2D Character Animation” in grade 11.
- In grade 11 Computer Science I was elected by my classmates to be the team leader of a large website design project.
